Is Travis Scott Coming Back To Fortnite? – Travis Scott’s Icon Series outfit has not been seen in the Fortnite Item Shop since April 27, 2020. With other Icon Series outfits being added to the Item Shop on a regular basis, this is a bit odd. It seems that due to unexpected events and controversy, the cosmetic product was destroyed. Although the outfit is still in demand  today, many believe it will never come back. 

However, in the shocking revelation from Tim Sweeney – CEO of Epic Games – that is not the case.In an unrelated tweet, a fan asked Tim Sweeney if Travis Scott’s cosmetics were blacklisted. Since all charges against him have been dropped and the community wants him back in the game, why doesn’t Epic do the same? Suffice it to say that the reaction was unexpected. 

Is Travis Scott Returning To Fortnite? 

According to Tim Sweeny, Travis Scott is welcome in Fortnite and the Metaverse.However, she didn’t know when the Icon Series outfit would appear in the item shop because she didn’t know the rotation cycle. Considering she doesn’t like cosmetics, it makes sense. Here’s what he said: 

“Travis Scott was inducted into Fortnite. I just haven’t been on the item shop rotation, so I don’t know what’s going to happen or what specific deals with celebrities and brands will affect the timing of those decisions. “Fortnite may not want to collect its cosmetic items.Currently, Travis Scott’s Icon Series suits are the rarest in their class. After  more than three years of storage, it has become exclusive. That is, even if the outfit is profitable, will gamers want to buy it?

Not everyone liked Travis Scott, given the artist’s many controversies, so it’s hard to say if bringing the outfit back is a good idea. Surprisingly, however, most HYPEX data leak/data miner veteran reviews suggest otherwise:

Most players seem open to bringing artists back into the Fortnite item shop. However,  that doesn’t mean the Travis Scott Icon Series outfit will return. If everything depended on the decisions of the artists themselves, there was nothing Epic Games could do about it. 

The outfit remains rare and very exclusive for the time being.Those who made it in 2020 are the lucky few. With that in mind, anything else should be considered hearsay and speculation until another Travis Scott or Epic Games collaboration is confirmed.
