Twitter is one of the social media that is still used by millions of active users in the world. Now, Twitter can be monetized through the Media Studio program. This program offers monetization for videos that are considered useful by Twitter.

Reported through the official Twitter page, Tuesday (27/7/2021), the company made by Jack Dorsey offers two monetization programs, namely Pre-Roll Amplify and Sponsorship Amplify. For those of you who want to get financial benefits from Twitter, take a look at the two ways below

1. Pre-Roll Amplify

Amplify’s Pre-Roll Program is an advertising program of choice to serve pre-rolls of premium video content shared on Twitter.

This program was created to make it easier for publishers to monetize video content on Twitter, and is also ready-made for advertisers to align with brand-safe content.

Partners who are accepted into the program and develop sponsored support packages will have access to the monetization functions in Media Studio.

Here’s how to monetize with Amplify Pre-roll

• Click on the video in the Media Studio library.
• Click the Settings tab.
• Click the Monetize this video button.
• Select the relevant content category in the How would you describe your video section? .
• If users don’t want a certain ad category to appear in front of the video, you can select it in the Exclude flag section. Avoid selecting too many signs; this can limit the ads that may match the video.
• If you don’t want a specific advertiser to be associated with your video, you can enter this username yourself in the Exclude @advertiser handle section.

2. Sponsorship Amplify

Amplify’s Sponsorship Program makes it easy for users to align premium video content through individual sponsorship support with one or more advertisers.

Twitter says this program is a great way to drive reach, revenue for brands and provide premium alignment for advertisers looking to reach their audience.

Partners who are accepted into the program and develop sponsored support packages will have additional monetization functions in Media Studio.

How to monetize with Amplify Sponsorship

• From Library, click the Tweet button below the video thumbnail
• In the Tweet creation window, enter the text of your Tweet (up to 280 characters)
• Click the Monetize this video checkbox
• Then update these metadata types (optional):
• Title
• description
• Call to Action URL
• Select the appropriate package from the Monetization program dropdown menu.
• You can also update other monetization metadata (optional):
• Exclude advertiser @handle – unless prompted by Twitter account manager, ignore this field
• Click the Tweet button to immediately publish a new monetized Tweet.
